Tens of Thousands of Dollars Returned to Board of Education

Today, Superintendent Cliff Cole accepted a check from GreyStone Power to the tune of over $37,500.

(L-R) Ed Cahill (GreyStone Power), Superintendent Cliff Cole, Jim Noles (GreyStone Power)

The check is a benefit of GreyStone Power membership.

GreyStone Power is a not-for-profit cooperative, which is owned by the members it serves. Because of that, margins are returned to GreyStone's members rather than to stockholders, as in a for-profit business.

The amount of the check is based on the amount the school district has paid during specific years and how much GreyStone can return to members, while still remain financially stable.

Thanks, GreyStone!
