Did you know one in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime?

Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in women, and it is the second leading cause of death among women. Every year, it is estimated that more than 220,000 women in the United States will be diagnosed with breast cancer and more than 40,000 will die.

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month. You're probably seeing a lot of pink around the community, and hearing stories of survival on the news.

Paulding County cheerleaders are getting in on the movement, helping to raise awareness during Friday Night Football.
